Pre Coachella Festival Vol. 1
Next week the Merry Swankster will be trekking with thousands of music geeks to the annual pilgrimage in the Southern California desert that is COACHELLA. Stay tuned to this space for artists to look out for at this stellar festival, and return post-COACHELLA for newly discovered talent that is Swankster worthy.
M.I.A. - Pull Up the People (Sri Lankan genre-inventing Fembot, via UK)
Chemical Brothers - Galvanize (Q-Tip drops the word)
Secret Machines - Sad & Lonely (Pink Floyd's illegitimate children break hearts)
Wilco - Hummingbird (Silent screaming memories)
Coldplay - Speed of Sound (Make trade fair and add a piano)

A Well-Fed iPod is a Happy iPod
Friday was so busy that I didn't have time to post the Swankster's music picks. Without further ado, I give you Swankster Mondays:

Kaiser Chiefs - Na Na Na Na Naa (Blistering indifference)
LCD Soundsystem - Losing My Edge (Hipster reflections)
Arcade Fire - Wake Up (Like in Garden State when he stops taking meds)
Beck - Go It Alone (Jack White was here)
