Fiery Furnaces Profiled by CNN
So, (not) everybody's favorite uber pretentious, backwards talking, Brooklyn siblings are given a lengthy (and provocatively titled) feature piece in the entertainment section of CNN.com for some reason. Read it here. I feel like a few people tuning into the Furnaces' music based on this might be pretty pissed, but that's just a hunch.
Not a ton of info we didn't already know, sibling rivalry, two Matt Friedberger solo albums on the way, blah, blah, blah. But at the end they drop the bomb that the next Furnaces album will be inspired by Michael Jackson's Thriller. They are a continual train wreck, and I love them.
Oh wait, this just in: Fluxblog's Matthew Perpetua announced today that he has a new gig writing for the Associated Press. The world makes sense again.
