I am the DJ, I am What I Play...

It's that time again folks, as tomorrow night brings us the latest offering in New York City's favorite ongoing indie rock party, Beg Yr Pardon. This latest version of BYP has a bit of an electronic bent, featuring MS.com pal Cassettes Won't Listen (recently interviewed by, uh, us), as well as sets by EZ Machine, My Teenage Stride, and Animandible. As usual, BBQ, baked goods, and an anchor leg featuring free beer are all prominently featured.
Almost convinced, but wishing that I was more personally involved? You're in luck! I'll be putting on my serious DJ face for the first part of the evening, playing beloved (by me) non-hits from the vaults. The baton will then be passed to Sugartown and East Village Radio luminary, DJ Mathilda von Crumbcake. If you've been following our humble site for a while now, or like music to a degree that resembles mild autism, you'll probably be familiar with a few tracks at least. I'll start the love around 7:30 when the doors open, soundtracking your nervous excitement while we wait for the bands to begin, and again in between groups. Come early, eat a brownie, introduce yourself.
It'll be nice.

I'm actually kind of over them. I really prefer the early stuff.

I suggest someone, but I doubt you've heard of them.
