Billy Corgan is nothing but a plagiarist who got his start by ripping off My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless" almost from beginning to end. From studio techniques to chord progressions to meticulously stealing Blenda Butcher's vocal style, he owes his entire career to MBV. At least Nirvana had the courtesy to tell the media time and time again that they were doing nothing but ripping off the Melvins. Hell, when Corgan got the money from Siamese Dream, he even hired Alan Moulder to engineer "Mellon Collie".

He clearly is not the most talented musician out there, certainly not one of the top 100 of the last century, and his lyrics are about as deep as a puddle you step in after it rains in a parking lot, but he does retain certain attributes that do qualify you as a musician. On the other hand what he lacks in originality he makes up for in ego and shallowness.

Same goes for the other two artists. Gerard Way is the biggest fucking fag I've ever seen and heard in my life. However, if I were to chose to to listen to these 3 artists, I would instead choose being mouth raped by the entire current roster of WWF wrestlers while listening to Merzbow at about 150db.
