LCD Soundsystem - Live @ Webster Hall, NY, NY - 5.14.2007

Since I'm human, I have to admit my favorite part of the LCD Soundsystem show was the climax of the perennial favorite song "Yeah." James Murphy played to the crowd (and, in the process, must have annoyed his drummer by pouring water on (and throwing water battles at) the cymbals as [the drummer] played.
The dance numbers ("Tribulations," "Us v Them") really brought out the energy in the crowd. If I may be so contrarian, the energy, much cried for by "real music fans" decrying the hipsters, was in full effect for this concert. It was kind of annoying. There, I said it.

Murphy's swan song for our beloved city was well received. Also crowd-approved, "Something Great" and "Movement." But the song that inspired the most sing-alongs? "Watch the Tapes." Who knew?
