In Lieu of Actual Information, I Post Old Video from Sweden

the Ballet - "Clay"

Listening to the Ballet's 2006 gem, Mattachine!, last night for the first time in a while it occurred to me that I had no clue what the former Neon Lights' stars have been up to all year. The band's website claims they've been hiding away polishing songs for a follow-up, and its humble request for tuba players suggests that they'll be moving past the strings and keys of their debut. I did however find this video, taken by Swedish site PSL. It features the Ballet performing the sly and elegant track "Clay" in the midst of what now looks like a brilliantly warm day at Williamsburg's McCarren Park.

Perusing PSL, I also came across a low-key solo version of this stand out from Of Montreal's might '07 LP, Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer? The acoustics of the hospital (?) Kevin Barnes strums in are particularly lovely.

Of Montreal - "Heimdalsgate Like a Promethean Curse"

I assume there are more video treats to be found on the site, and as soon as I learn enough Swedish to conduct a proper search, I will absolutely fill you in.
