That Power Station video is seizure inducing. The Pet Shop Boys find is worlds better even if I wish they pulled the Nat King/Natalie Cole trick and had them perform with an apparition of 60's Dusty (even though she was still very much alive). The 80's were not kind...

Sadly, Power Station was ubiquitous for a few years via MTV and the radio, at a time when the radio was still something you couldn't get away from. Never dug the shrieking '80s production. Indeed, Pet Shop Boys hold up a hell of a lot better.

You do know that PSB track managed to get to no 2 in both the US and UK, and that, while poor Dusty shuffled off this mortal coil, PSB are still churning out rather decent material?
That Power Station thing though is very much 'of it's time'...

I think we were all aware of the Pet Shop Boys in general, just not the Dusty duet specifically...
